Verifier (26), winner of the Diesel U Music 2005 contest, began to listen to electronic music when he was 16.
Starting out with Trance, his musical taste moved on to House and Techno and he got to know Drum&bass
in 1996. He started to collect d&b-records and bought his own set of decks in 1998.

A few months later Data and Verifier started to host a weekly drum&bass-show on Louvain’s independent
radiostation Scorpio 106 FM and along with Sniper and Jef, they organised 3 editions of the Scope-parties in
1999. He returned to Scorpio 106 FM in 2002-2003 , with the drum&bass show Quadrant 6 and had a regular
night in café Alegria named Rumble in the Jungle. Data, Sniper and Verifier joined forces and started up the Elementz-crew in 2003.

Throughout the years Verifier has been spinning on and off, on a load of parties in Louvain’s Rumba&co like the
Scope & Elementz-parties, Explosive, 2 x on Wontime's ‘Hear the drum&Feel the bass’, for Home and Sound-clash
in the Silo, in Musicafé for Fataal, on Crooked kru’s Crooked Night, on Amen 2005, Feest in het Park 2005, ...
When he’s behind the decks, Verifier cooks up a blend of new material and classics, dark and funky but always
melodic tunes. Never too loud, never too soft. He combines most of the different d&b-styles and mixes fast so
the crowd doesn’t get bored. Timing is essential when you mix fast and Verifier always tries to bring in the next
record at the right time so people will automatically feel when the next track is gonna drop.
